Not a standard china restaurant like everyone else. There are dishes here that no other Chinese in the area offers. The portions are very plentiful and prepared to the point. All the staff were very polite. The dishes came quickly after ordering, even though it was really full. A table reservation is therefore recommended. Some of the starters also differ from other comparable restaurants. The hygiene measures were meticulously paid attention to, so that one could enjoy a relaxed evening. The ambience of the restaurant is also pleasant. We will definitely go here more often!

Nice service, delicious food, ok atmosphere, no long waiting times. Prices generous but reasonable because tasty and large portions. We will be back definitely.

Hello, so food was 😋 we had a menu for 2 people: soup, spring rolls (2) for everyone, on the plate that came afterwards there were many shrimp, but only 1/2 duck that was too little, night shift 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream ... 40 €

We are visiting Lübeck and have looked for and read reviews about good Chinese restaurants. The Shanghai was at the top. Rightly. Super delicious food, friendly service, with attention to detail, such as dishes, soup tureen, etc. Completely different from most Chinese restaurants because of the interior design and no buffet.

Incredible Chinese food. I can't say I'm an expert in Chinese food at all. I've never been to China and my experience with Chinese food is limited to European and American restaurants. Some clearly more authentic than others. This is one of the best ones I have ever been too!!! The meat was tender and cooked to perfection and the sauces were spicy but not mouth burningly hot. The waitresses are little short, but they pay attention to detail are efficient. Really great dining experience, would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

The food in Shanghai is legendary! Don't eat Asian mix, just eat high quality Chinese! All employees are super friendly and are available with recommendations for food and a variety of different wines! The Shanghai is the restaurant you want to take your loved ones to because you want to make them happy!

We ate great here! All dishes were very aromatic, the vegetables were crunchy and not just plain mash, as you usually find them in Asian restaurants. Our waitress was super personable and gave us one or two tips, especially when it comes to the spiciness of the dishes. Simply great!

Awful service, rude and disrespectful. Pork was raw and the taste of glutamate was over all.

Nothing special. If you're fancy for Chinese food there are much better places than this restaurant. My biggest concern was the amount of peanuts inside each dish we tried.

The spring rolls are not specially good. As a main course I ordered chicken with veggies -lots of glutamat. Looks better from the outside. Just go if you're looking for sth fast.
